  • Lunch will continue to be eaten picnic style outside on good weather days, on our grassy area on the main playground.
  • On inclement weather days students will eat inside in the cafeteria and classrooms.
  • If you are packing lunch for your child please make it healthy by avoiding sugary treats.
  • We also ask you to avoid packing hot cheetos/takis as they red residue on school surfaces and materials.

When packing lunches from home, please make healthy choices by avoiding sugary options as much as possible, i.e. candy, soda. In addition, please don’t pack hot chips as they leave an orange/red residue on their hands. As a result, the residue ends up on the student desks, hallway walls, books, and computers. Also, because students are not eating in the cafeteria and to prevent the spread of germs we are not using microwaves so please keep this in mind when packing your child’s lunch. We appreciate your help and support in helping students develop healthy habits that will last them a lifetime.

Students will also get a daily fruit or vegetable snack purchased by the school.

Our school is a “Nut Aware” school. We ask that parents/guardians please refrain from sending food items that have nuts in them.
