PALAS: Padres Latinos de Sandoval 

Padres Latinos de Sandoval (PALAS) promotes active parent involvement in our children’s academic and personal growth. We host events celebrating cultural diversity, discuss school-wide activities, and feature monthly educational topics from the principal or guest experts. PALAS also partners with other committees to engage more Latino parents in school life.

AMIGOS de la Academia Sandoval 

Amigos de la Academia Sandoval raises funds to support our unique Montessori dual-language program and cover needs beyond DPS funding. We’ve supported to ensure there is a paraprofessional in each classroom, montessori teacher training, field trips, and supplies. We raise these important funds through fun community events.

Sandoval Gardening Club

The Gardening Club cultivates Sandoval’s outdoor spaces to create beautiful, welcoming, and educational gardens for our students and community. We plan and maintain seasonal planting, care for existing greenery, and involve students in hands-on learning about nature, sustainability, and healthy eating. Whether you have a green thumb or are just eager to help, everyone is welcome to dig in and grow with us!

Collaborative School Committee (CSC)

The Collaborative School Committee (CSC) brings together families, staff and community members to create and implement a plan to promote high achievement within a school. This committee meets on a regular basis throughout the school year and is an opportunity for key stakeholders to have a voice in their school. CSC parent members participate in the meetings and commit to being a member for two years. Committee members provide guidance, evaluation of CSC leadership, and recommendations to the Principal.
