Academia Ana Marie Sandoval’s vision is to build a community of multilingual learners committed to creating a compassionate and peaceful world. Our mission is to use Montessori principles to provide an equitable and high-quality multilingual, multicultural education to our community of children by nurturing dignity, diversity, a love of learning and an appreciation for all cultures.

Our financial requirements exceed those of traditional schools. Every contribution, whether it’s your time or financial support, makes a meaningful impact. 

Our paraprofessionals are essential for our Montessori model and help keep the student to teacher ratio low and student engagement high. Our efforts ensure that there is a paraprofessional in every class.

Make a one-time donation or subscribe to our monthly giving initiative. To reach our annual fundraising goal we suggest families donate $540 for the school year or $45 per month. Or, choose a monthly amount that aligns with your budget. Each dollar makes a difference and gets us closer to our goal. 

 

Your donation’s impact
Over the past 10 years, Amigos has raised over a million dollars. We spend donated funds to cover school-related expenses in the fall and spring semesters. We typically cover the cost of teacher training at the beginning of the school year.                 

How else can you help bridge the gap? 

  • Sponsor a Sandoval family. Consider covering the suggested family fee ($540 per year) for another student. 
  • Join the AMIGOS committee. Check out our meeting minutes. 
  • Give the gift of time. Contact Amigos at amigossandoval@gmail.com to learn about volunteer opportunities and be connected with our parent committees.  
  • Participate in an upcoming AMIGOS fundraising event throughout the year. Be sure to read the weekly Principal’s Message or check the main Sandoval calendar for the most up to date information about fundraising events.
  • Get your Sandoval gear on Threadless. A portion of the proceeds will support Amigos.

Amigos de la Academia Sandoval is a fundraising non-profit, recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization; our tax ID is 73-1627986. Donations are tax-deductible. As an early childhood education provider, Academia Ana Marie Sandoval qualifies for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, which helps support quality child care programs for low-income families. Any taxpayer (corporate or individual) that makes a monetary contribution of more than $100 to promote child care in Colorado may claim an income tax credit of up to 50% of the total value of the contribution when filing your Colorado state taxes.
