How sick is too sick to go to school?
Students and staff who are sick and/or exhibiting infectious disease symptoms should stay home using these guidelines:
When to Keep Sick Children Home (English)
When to Keep Sick Children Home (Español)
The school nurse will monitor for illness related absences and trends.
Quarantines for close contacts in the school setting may still occur but they will be less common due to mandatory masking
Quarantining
will not apply
to the following:
Fully vaccinated without symptoms (two weeks after last recommended vaccine dose) OR
Those who are previously positive in the past 90 without symptoms day OR
If both parties were wearing a mask properly over the mouth and nose at the time of exposure and without symptoms
