Employment Opportunities

At Academia Sandoval, we enjoy learning with children.  Our vision is to foster a community of lifelong learners guided by a love of learning, interest and appreciation for other cultures and a desire to create a peaceful world. We provide an equitable and high-quality education to a diverse community of children.  As a staff, we are a family that encourages support and friendships all in the spirit of helping students reach their full potential in two languages. You will find that we are a tight-knit community of kindred spirits; we love to witness the magic of children learning through their prepared classroom environments and welcoming school community.

Araceli, school leader of Academia Sandoval, also has a vision to share that can give you a glimpse into the school’s culture: To love every human being and his or her potential that is to be nurtured through our intentionally prepared environments that lead to equity for generations to come. Academia Sandoval is a school for teachers who are willing to constantly reflect and refine their practice to reach their highest potential in service to children.  Maria Montessori said, “It is not enough for the teacher to love the child. She must first love and understand the universe. She must prepare herself, and truly work at it.”

We like to keep lines of communication open with potential candidates for when there is a vacancy as an Assistant (“Paraprofessional”) or Lead Teacher in our Primary, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary grades. We especially invite bilingual and/or Montessori trained educators who are passionate about working in a public school setting.  If our school resonates with you, please contact Araceli O’Clair, Principal, directly at 420-424-4370 or via email at araceli_oclair@dpsk12.org to learn about current or potential vacancies.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Academia Sandoval family!
