Orientation

The first two weeks of school are used for classroom orientation for Primary students. The Dual Language Montessori prepared environment is quite specific and Primary Program children must have a gradual introduction individually or in small groups.

• Five year olds attend each day.
  
  
• Three and four year olds attend in small groups on specific days with the youngest children being phased-in first.

This enables teachers to spend more time orienting them to the classroom on an individual basis and providing them with a smooth transition. Once a child has started to attend, s/he will continue to attend each day.
